"Princes" series presents military of the lowest rank, standing in a line across the New Year tree at Maidan Nezalezhnosti on the next day after the first attempt to clear away Maidan (the night when students were beaten). Prince – representative of direct ancestors of ruling upper circles; Ukraine of the period of the presidency of Victor Yanukovych had symptoms of police country and in this context the image of a prince in police uniform turns into multilayer metaphor.
